Casa Paraguas is a vacation retreat on Lake Buchanan. The floor plan accommodates three small bedrooms, a two-story open living/dining area, a sunken "conversation pit" with fireplace, and a small galley kitchen. The two upstairs bedrooms are linked by a mezzanine sitting area that overlooks the living room and views of the lake. A steel-framed canopy provides shading. This project was featured in the New York Times.
