The Courtyard House is a 2100 square foot house for a young family of four in South Austin. A corner lot with plentiful pecans and cedar elms was the starting point for the design; the U-shaped house weaves its way among the trees, resulting in a courtyard domicile with a casual relationship between indoors and outdoors. The Courtyard House was featured on the 2007 AIA Austin Homes Tour.
